«DETSKY MIR» INVITES TO CONGRATULATE ORPHANS WITH NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS

The Charity Fund of the «Detsky Mir»Group of Companies– Russia’s largest operator of children’s goods, invites everyone to support children with a difficult fate. 

In the stores of the«Detsky Mir»retail chain, the New Year chain of the charity campaign Uchastvyite!” has started.  Its goal is to cvollect and pass on the necessary assistance to children from social institutions, orphans, disabled people and large families. The action runs until December 31, 2018 in 230 cities of Russia and Kazakhstan. 

«Most of the children who are under the care of the Charity Foundation do not have parents, so the especially need our general attention and care. During the “Detsky Mir” and customers are going to congratulate over 300 thousand children from 700 social intitutions throughout the country on New Year holidays. We invite everyone who is not indifferent to ther problems of children with a difficult fate to support them!» – said Nadezhda Kiseleva, head of the Department for External and Internal Communications of the “Detsky Mir” Group of Companies. 

In order to take part in a charity event, it is enough to come to any store of the “Detsky Mir” chain and leave a gift in a special arena located near the cash registers. It can be clothes, shoes, toys, sweet sets, carnival costumes, Christmas masks, board games. A gift can be attached to the gift card with the wishes of a happy New Year!  

The charity campaign “Uchastvyite!” is held in the «Detsky Mir»chain stores throughout the year. The previous autumn stage of the sction took place from September 1 to October 31, 2018. Over two months,  over 1.5 million customers took part in it, who donated over 1.8 million units of clothing, shoes, food and other assistance, and “Detsky Mir” sent them to recipients.  

It is also possible to support children with the help of a monetary SMS donation to the short number 7715 with the text “Uchastvyite!” and the amount of transfer. For example, “Uchastie 100”. All funds raised will go to help children with disabilities.
