2021

  • Detsky Mir’s loyalty program was recognized as the best program at the Loyalty Awards Russia 2020.
  • Detsky Mir won a prize for Feedback Practice at the prestigious CX World Awards for Best Customer Experience.
  • Detsky Mir has been shortlisted for the Effie Awards 2021, the world’s top award for advertising and marketing excellence.
  • In 2020, Detsky Mir ranked among the top 30 most-mentioned e-commerce retailers on social media, according to Brand Analytics.

2020

  • Detsky Mir was included in the top six companies in the Good Practice category of the annual Corporate Philanthropy Leaders ranking, compiled by Donors Forum, an association of grantmaking organizations.
  • Detsky Mir ranked 29th on Russia’s 50 Best Employers 2020 List by Forbes.
  • Detsky Mir was recognized as the leader in consumer interaction with technology, according to a ranking by AWG and Data Insight.
  • Detsky Mir was named among the top three companies in the Best IR by a Small Cap Corporate, Russia 2020 category, following a survey by Moscow Exchange and the magazine Institutional Investor.
  • Detsky Mir ranked 113th in the annual RBC 500 ranking of Russia’s largest companies.
  • Maria Davydova, CEO of Detsky Mir Group, was one of the 12 female CEOs on the Forbes list of the 200 largest companies in Russia.
  • Detsky Mir ranked 86th in the annual Top 200 Largest Russian Companies ranking by Forbes.

  • Detsky Mir topped the ranking of the most recognizable brands in the children’s goods market by RBC Market Research.
  • Detsky Mir won the Growth Leader: Stayer category in an annual ranking compiled by the analytics company Data Insight.
  • Detsky Mir Group won in four categories of the children’s goods industry’s Golden Bear Cub National Awards: Best School Uniform (Chessford private brand), Best Baby Product (Baby Go learning walker), Manager of the Year: Exceptional Professionalism (Nina Mekhling, Head of Certification, Quality and Complaint Management), and Best Charitable Project (“Opora” [“Support”], Detsky Mir Charitable Foundation).
  • Vladimir Chirakhov, the then CEO of Detsky Mir Group, received the Order of Friendship, a state decoration of the Russian Federation, following a decree on the official legal portal.
  • Detsky Mir Group topped a ranking by Knight Frank, a leading global consultancy firm, as the most active Russian retailer in 2019, with 85 new stores opened over 13 regions of Russia.
  • The rating agency RAEX (Expert RA) affirmed Detsky Mir’s long-term credit rating at ruA+ with a stable outlook.

2019

  • Detsky Mir ranked 92nd in Forbes annual Russia’s Top 200 Largest Companies 2019 rating, overtaking Mail.ru Group, Pharmacy Chain 36.6, Azbuka Vkusa, Ural Airlines and many other major players.
  • Detsky Mir won the Growth Leader: Stayer category in an annual rating complied by Data Insight analytics company.
  • According to Data Insight, Detsky Mir’s online store was the leader among the Top 1000 retailers in the children’s goods online market in 2019, with a 42% share of total online sales.
  • In its extensive research of the footwear market conducted in spring 2019, RBC Market Research Agency ranked Detsky Mir second largest retail chain in the Russian footwear market.
  • JLL consultancy placed Detsky Mir on top of its ranking of the most well-established brands in the Russian market. According to JLL, the most well-established chains in Russia include Burger King, Befree, Detsky Mir, kari, Gloria Jeans, and Sportmaster, all with presence in every location covered by the research.
  • In 2019, Detsky Mir Group was recognized by Institutional Investor, a leading international finance publisher, as one of the best companies in the EMEA emerging markets.
  • Six of Detsky Mir Group top managers were included in the milestone 20th rating of the Top 1000 Russian Managers. The short list of top managers was compiled by Russian Managers Association and published in Kommersant, Russia’s leading business daily.
  • The Company’s central office won the AD Design Award in the Best Office Design category.
  • The Company’s Toys Operation charitable project won the Change Management. Visionaries award recognizing Russian companies making significant contribution to the sustainable development of the Russian economy, environment and society.

  • Detsky Mir was named the most popular children’s clothing chain according to RBC.Research’s The Russian Market of Child and Teen Clothing 2015.  Over a 6 month period half of all people who bought children’s goods purchased clothing at Detsky Mir stores.

2014

  • Detsky Mir was the winner of the Golden Bear, the national prize of the children’s products industry, in four categories: “Best Store” (the new concept store at Mega Belaya Dacha), “Executive of the Year” (Farid Kamalov, Chief Operating Officer), “Social Project of the Year” (project “Co-financing of Charitable Programs”), “Best Games and Toys” (the Demi Baby set “Baby At Home”). n addition, based on the results of online voting by parents, the clothing collection Sea Etude (Orsolini) won in the category “Best Clothes”.
  • According to the study by RBC.research “Russian Market for Children’s and Teens’ Clothing 2014”, Detsky Mir is the most popular children’s retail chain. Over a period of six months, half of all buyers of children’s products bought children’s clothing in Detsky Mir stores.
  • The online store Detsky Mir was included in the rating of Top 200 Online Stores (the 120th-121st positions as compared to the 151st-153rd positions in 2013).
  • In the Forbes list of the TOP 200 largest private companies, Detsky Mir ranks 151, up 20 positions as compared to 2013.
  • Five executives of Detsky Mir, including CEO Vladimir Chirakhov were included in the ranking of Russia’s Top 1000 Russian Managers.

2013

  • According to RBC research, the Detsky Mir chain is the most popular Russian store to buy children’s clothes.
  • In the list of the 100 largest Russian retailers prepared by INFOLine & Retailer Russia, the Detsky Mir chain ranks 31st, well ahead of all competitors in the children’s goods segment.
  • Detsky Mir was awarded in two categories of the Golden Bear awards, the national prize of the children’s products industry. Vladimir Chirakhov, CEO of Detsky Mir, was given the title of Manager of the Year. The second award was for “Social Project of the Year”, granted for the Company’s voluntary initiative aimed at supporting children of Kuban who suffered in a severe flood.
  • Detsky Mir Group was included in the list of the Top 200 Largest Private Companies of Russia, according to Forbes Russia.
  • Detsky Mir is a member of the Top 100 largest companies for revenue growth in 2012, according to a ranking published by RBC.

2012

  • In 2012, for the second consecutive year, Detsky Mir was a winner of the people’s trust contest “Brand Number 1” in Russia in the category “Retail network of children’s goods”.
  • Detsky Mir is awarded the Golden Bear, the national prize of the children’s products industry, in four categories: “Best Marketing Project”, “Best Internet Project”, “Best Social Project”, and “Person of the Year”.
  • Detsky Mir ranks 29th in the largest Russia’s retail chains, according to a INFOLine and Retailer Russia Top 100 ranking, and also was awarded in the category “National leader in its segment”.
  • In 2012, the Detsky Mir online project ranks 1st in the category “Children’s goods” and 36th in the All-Russian List of Online Stores, according to the magazine Secret of the Firm.
  • According to research of the information agency RBC, in 2012 the Detsky Mir online store ranked 2nd among the largest online stores selling goods for children, leaving all specialized online stores behind.
  • In November 2012, Detsky Mir’s brand Animazzle was the winner in the category “Best Connection Kit” as part of the Children’s Choice contest.
  • The All-Russian program “Get involved!” is included in the ranking “Best Social Projects of Russia”.

2011-2010

  • In 2011, Detsky Mir was awarded the Golden Bear, the national prize of the children’s products industry, in four categories: “Company of the Year”, “Marketing Project”, “Social Project” and “Hall of Fame”.
  • The online store of Detsky Mir Group won in the 9th All-Russian contest “Golden Website”. Detsky Mir was the winner of the annual is a winner of the people’s trust contest “Brand Number 1 in Russia”.
  • The Company ranks 29th in the list Top 100 of Russian Retailers prepared by information agency Infoline and Retailer Magazine.
  • In 2010, Detsky Mir was included in the list of Russia’s Top 500 largest companies (292nd) compiled by Finance magazine, and also in the TOP 200 Fastest Growing Companies (96th) according to magazine Secret of the Firm.
