«DETSKY MIR» OPENED 3 NEW PLAYROOMS IN ASTRAKHAN
The Charity Foundation of the «Detsky Mir» Group of Companies – Russia’s largest operator of children’s goods – opened playrooms as part of the charity project “Operatsiya igrushky” at a medical institution in the Astrakhan Region.
Three playrooms appeared in the Regional children’s clinical hospital. The total budget for opening rooms was 400 thousand rubles.
The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the management of the medical institution and the top-management of the «Detsky Mir» Group of Companies.
After the official speeches, an interactive show of soap bubbles began, in which the children actively participated. The project partners – “Pushkinskaya ploshad” Printing complex OJSC” and “JSD Egmont Russia Ltd” – presented entertaining encyclopedias about the world to kids
«Opening new playrooms, we strive to create a warm and cozy atmosphere in medical institutions. Now, here, as if it is home, children can forget for some time about medical procedures, come to the playroom and play with toys», – said Nadezhda Kiseleva, head of the department of External and Internal communications of the «Detsky Mir» Group of Companies.
In the playrooms new beautiful furniture, dolls, strollers, designers, cars, educational games, sets for role-playing games and much more are waiting for young patients. Older guys will be interested in sports games: table football, air hockey, bowling. Here is a variety of manuals on the development of speech, memory, thinking and attention, vocabulary on various lexical topics, musical instruments. Every child will find something for himself!
Since the beginning of the year, the «Detsky Mir» Charity Foundation has 84 playrooms. In total, over five years, 373 playrooms have appeared in dozens of cities across the country. Playrooms opened their doors in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Barnaul, Bryansk, Vladikavkaz, Voronezh, Volgograd, Gorno-Altaisk, Grozny and many other Russian cities.
