Detsky Mir Charitable Foundation transfers 6 tons of clothes and footwear to children of Vladimir Region

The Charitable Foundation of Detsky Mir Group of Companies, the largest retailer of children’s products in Russia, shipped the humanitarian aid to Vladimir Region.

The shipment included clothes and 36,000 footwear items for children aged 0-12. The total weight of the parcel exceeded 6 tons, and the total price of all donated items amounted to RUB 10.7 mln.

“The Government of Vladimir Region would like to thank the Charitable Foundation of Detsky Mir for the provided assistance. The delivered products will help and support children from social establishments, orphans, disabled children, children from poor families and families with many children,” said Vice Governor Mikhail Kolkov of Vladimir Region, who leads the social policy division of the regional government.

Detsky Mir forwarded the humanitarian cargo to the Vladimir Comprehensive Center of Social Service, which annually provides assistance to more than 17,000 people. The clothes and footwear were donated to the children of Vladimir, Murom, Kovrov, Gus-Khrustalny and the following districts of Vladimir Region: Alexandrovsky, Vyaznikovsky, Gorokhovetsky, Gus-Khrustalny, Kameshkovsky, Kirzhachsky, Kovrovsky, Kolchuginsky, Melenkovsky, Muromsky, Petushinsky and many others. Some of the aid was forwarded to the children sponsored by the Vladimir Division of the Russian Children’s Foundation.
