Detsky Mir presents new collection at MBFW
The 36th season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia, which was held on March 10-15, 2018 at Manezh Central Exhibition Center, opened with the presentation of a bright new collection of Detsky Mir store chain.
The motto of the show, “Hello, Summer!” corresponded fully to the concept of the new “Spring-Summer 2018” collection, in which the designers preferred a bright color palette, bold tropical and floral prints, and interesting combinations of textures.
T-shirts and tops by popular brands – Futurino Fashion, Mishoo by Acoola and Blue Seven – were decorated with various fashionable elements: shiny paillettes, which could be turned over, depending on the mood, rhinestones, and large appliqued ornaments. The skirts, dresses and sarafans were made of light and natural materials in most fashionable summer hues of pink quartz, avocado and ultra-violet. Futurino Fashion and Blue Seven denim collections included trousers, sarafans, and shorts.
The upper garments were represented as well. Stylish analogs of grown-up fashion for children included parkas, English trench coats, leather jackets with pearl effects, and very fashionable bombers. To complete the look, shoppers could choose knitted hats with appliqued ornaments and bold text prints.
The Detsky Mir collection will allow children to feel fashionable and all grown up. Meanwhile the clothes and the footwear will underscore the children’s kindness and ingenuousness,” said Maria Volodina, Member of the Board and Commercial Director for Clothes and Footwear.
“The new collection produces such a summery impression, that you do not want to leave and go into the winter’s cold of Moscow again. These bright shorts and hats – I felt like buying them right away for my son. Especially since the collections included so much of our favorite yellow sunny colors!” actress Evelina Bledans said.
“Detsky Mir collections always follow the latest fashion trends. I attend premiere presentations of various collections regularly, for a number of years already, and I can safely say that if you buy your child’s clothes in Detsky Mir then you follow the latest fashion trends,” said TV host Svetlana Zeynalova.
“It is often so difficult to find something interesting for the boys, but here everything is so bright and fashionable that I am sure my little men will create a furor,” says actress Glafira Tarkhanova.
