Detsky Mir recognized as one of the most transparent retailers in the country
Detsky Mir Group of Companies, the largest retailer of children’s products in Russia, has been included in the rating of “Corporate Transparency of Major Russian Companies in 2017.”
The annual report on corporate transparency of major Russian companies has been conducted since 2013 by the Russian Regional Network for Integrated Reporting (RRN) in partnership with the Yes-Strategy Group of Companies, the Institute of Economic Strategy of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Downstream Technologies Company and Nexia Pacioli Group.
In 2017 the experts studied reports of more than 950 companies that jointly generate 80% of the gross national product. The study was based on the materials published on official corporate websites and public reports of organizations for 2016.
The experts of the rating praised the quality of corporate reporting by Detsky Mir Group of Companies. The company won in the Debut Nomination, and was recognized a leader in the transparency rating among retailers.
Earlier the corporate reporting of Detsky Mir Group of Companies was commended by two other professional competitions. The second report on sustainable development for 2016-2015, which was published in 2017, reached the finals of the reports competition organized by the Moscow Stock Exchange. Additionally, RAEX (Expert Rating Agency). included the annual reporting of Detsky Mir Group of Companies into the corresponding rating, and awarded it the rating of 4 stars (very high quality).
