Detsky Mir Opened The First Store With ABC Brand

The Detsky Mir Group of Companies (Children’s World), the largest children’s goods retailer in Russia, announces plans for the development of a new retail chain of ABC toys.

The first ABC store was opened on May 31, 2018 in Chelyabinsk. The store with an area of 80 square meters started operating in the shopping center “Almaz” at: 64, Kopeyskoye Highway. Two more ABC stores will open their doors in Novosibirsk.

“We are developing stores under the ELC franchise in Russia offering products for the early development of children under this brand. ABC stores offer an expanded range of products at affordable prices not only for preschool children, like in ELC, but also for schoolchildren. In accordance with our plans, the development of the ELC chain will continue in Moscow, St. Petersburg and other major cities of the country. Opening of ABC stores in the near future is planned in those regions of Russia where the ELC chain is not yet represented,” said Aleksandr Roganov, General Director of Kub-Market LLC.

The company is planning to open ABC stores in shopping centers and street retail shopping facilities. The area of shops will be up to 150 square meters.

The stores of the ABC chain offer toys, construction toys, products for the development and creativity for children from 0 to 14 years old. Buyers will be able to purchase toys by well-known foreign manufacturers such as LEGO, Hasbro and Mattel and those released under ABC’s own brand. The range of ABC store totals about 1,500 SKU.

Thanks to the many years of experience of the Detsky Mir Group of Companies in the children’s products segment, a visit to new ABC stores will bring positive emotions to both adults and small customers. ABC employs professional consultants who will help pick up the necessary toys, depending on the age and personal preferences of a child.
