«DETSKY MIR» BECAME A PARTNER OF THE CHILDREN’S COMPETITION «OUR ERA OF ECOLOGY»

At a meeting of the Moscow City Duma Commission on Environmental Policy, the results of the Russian children’s creative contest «Our Era of Ecology».

Russian children’s competition was organized by the international public movement “ERAECO” as part of the “Eco Projects of Russia 2018” with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation.

The goal of «ERAECO» is to attract the attention of adults, children and schoolchildren to environmental issues, as well as respect for the environment. “Detsky Mir” shares these values, which is why we have been a partner in the movement for several years

The contest “Our Era of Ecology” is held for children for children and schoolchildren aged 5 to 16 years. For several months, the contestants have presented the jury members their works in several categories: visual arts, literary works, concert pop and theater performances, online media projects, environmental projects and social advertising.

This year, about 2000 entries from all over Russia, from big and small cities were submitted to the competition: Vladikavkaz, Ruzayevka (Republic of Mordovia), Novokuznetsk (Kemerovo region), Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Yaroslavl, Timashevsk (Krasnodar region), Tarko-Sale village of Purovsky district, Yamalo-Nenetsk Autonomous region, Samara, Miass (Chelyabinsk region), Novy Urgal settlement, Verkhnebureinsky district, Khabarovsk territory, Novoaltaysk, Altai region, etc.

In order to determine the winners, the jury members evaluated each creative work according to a number of criteria: compliance with the subject of the competition, originality of the idea and creativity, relevance of the problem, the integrity of the artistic image, the unity of form and content, the quality and aesthetics of the work, the use of non-standard performance techniques and art materials, the ratio of tasks and the age of the author of the work, compliance with the requirements for the design of the work  (presence of name, format, links tp sources, etc.) As a result of the competitive selection, the winners, diploma winners and the grand prix winner in total points were named.

The award ceremony for the laureates and diploma winners of the competition was held as part of the meeting of the Commission on Environmental Policy of the Moscow City Duma, which was attended by jury members – representatives of the executive branch, educational, public organizations, the media, partner companies, and the organizers of the Russian children’s contest “Our Era of Ecology”. More than 60 contest winners from different regions of Russia attended the ceremony.

All laureates and diploma winners received diplomas and pleasant prizes, and the winner became the proud owner of a telescope – a gift from the “Detsky Mir”.
